...and then it was all over. Little Britain has been on BBC3 nearly every bloody night and had got great ratings on proper telly (BBC2), beating rubbish gay Graham Norton. Matt and David have been on every bloody talk show and it's all got very odd! Richard Madeley has morphed completely into Alan Partridge now so seeing him ask about Vicky Pollard's origins was pretty bizarre. Judy was a bit shaky and mumsy as usual.

Tom Baker and even Ruth Jones (Myfanwy) have been asked about the show whenever they appear anywhere and the catchphrases have become a national obsession (well, almost). This means I have heard endless bad impressions of Vicky Pollard, usually from the very types her character was inspired by who don't get the joke! Highlight of the media frenzy (for me anyway) were David winning best newcomer (he's shiny and new you know) at the comedy awards and doing his acceptance speech in the style of Ricky Martin from Rock Profile. Rather camp as usual, considering he's not a gay! He also appeared on some show called Eastenders on Christmas day, which was rubbish as usual but he was quite good.

The popularity of Little Britain meant it was the perfect time to release a CD of the radio show. Which led to the excuse for lots more promotion! This culminated in a mad signing at Virgin in London with over 500 fans turning up to see the Little Britons in character as Lou and Andy. Sadly I had to work but got a nice free CD off the BBC anyway for reviewing it on this site. Oh, the perks!

The real Llanddewi Brefi has been shocked at its sudden infamy. It has had more than one gay in the village though, as I found out here.

For some reason, David has become a sex symbol as well as the future of British comedy (which is obvious, along with Matt) and has been to many showbiz bashes and has even been linked to the ex peas-advertising, Oasis monkey-man-marrying, Pet Shop Boys protégée Patsy Kensit! He's now an official tabloid fodder celebrity. Matt has been doing loads of voiceovers and working with Vic and Bob again.
