Project76 Visit Llanddewi-BrefiBrynheulog Guest HouseNOT The Real Llanddewi-Brefi!
Dan - It's Cold Here Here's the science bit:

After seeing an article on't'internet we decided to see if there really were any other gays in Llanddewi-Brefi and if there was anything for gays to do or places to meet other gays...

There wasn't!

It was early March and had been snowing quite a lot when we arrived so it was bloody cold. We found the mines just outside of the village but they were closed! Oh dear. So we went off to find a path that was quite treacherous, maybe leading to Aberfanwy where there would be a pub called BJ And The Bear that had a gay night on Thursdays but no such luck! It turns out that this is completely fictitious! How careless of us to confuse reality with television :( The path that we found was quite treacherous though and led to a big drop called Devil's Bridge Falls. We walked down a little way but were far too gay to go all the way down. The nearest slightly larger village (Llanddewi-Brefi is tiny) is small too and called Tregaron. We bought a nice rug off the market and explored a nice shop/gallery called the Rhiannon Gallery (I didn't ask the woman serving if her minge was getting cold, it would be impertinent) which had some nice paintings and Welsh gold jewellery for sale. Then it was off off to the cottage (how gay!) that we were staying in, called Brynheulog. It was a lovely place to stay and had a log fire and is run by a nice lady called Annie who isn't even Welsh! She made us a delicious dinner and we learnt how the Welsh have to watch a rubbish version of Channel 4. I would recommend the cottage to anyone planning a trip to the valleys as it was incredibly relaxing.

Here's the weblinks bit:

www.brynheulog.com is where we stayed and is bloody marvellous!
www.rhiannon.co.uk is the gallery and shop in the next village.
www.woodlandsdevilsbridge.co.uk is where the path is quite treacherous!
icwales.icnetwork.co.uk is all about Wales and Welshers.
Amazon has many good books suggesting places to visit, walks to make, and nature to see in the area.
