Sebastian tussles with Gavin Esler

Penultimate episode, with some hit-and-miss bits. Lou and Andy continue to repeat the same events in different surroundings while Vicky is funny again trying to get into a Blazin' Squad concert. What an appropriately rubbish band for her to like, surrounded by some scarily fierce chav girls who make her look ladylike. Speaking of ladies, the rubbish transvestites were amusing playing mixed doubles and the double meaning of balls/bollocks was obvious yet well done. I think this episode featured about half the cast of Attachments in it, which is no mean feat. If you're not sure what that is look on www.tvtome.com

One-offs this week included the woman who treated men like dogs which was rather 'regular slightly wacky sketch show' and therefore more like an undeleted deleted scene, and the odd psychiatrist who likes to get on the phone after his patients have left: e.g "prossies!" said with evil glee. Funny though. And Viv is still milking her catchphrase at every opportunity but it still makes me laugh. We learnt that gorgeous criminals never get convicted but this information may not be entirely reliable. We also learnt that Kenny Craig is a cross dresser and that came as no surprise to anyone.

The Daffyd gay wedding sketch went too far and took too long to film. I don't see where else the character can go now and it's a shame because the original ideas were really funny and quite realistic in their own loopy way. Now that everyone in Llandewi-Breffi is a gay what else can happen? A life of misery and repression in a loveless marriage with a woman is the only solution! Or maybe that nice Civil Partnerships Bill will get sorted out once the Tories and Lords stop trying to wreck it and he will get a happy ending? Little bit of politics to end on. Good bye!
