Andy's "pushed over"

The second episode calmed down a bit after the high gross-out level of the first one. Needless to say, The Daily Mail didn't like it very much but then they would prefer to be in the 1950's anyway. Worryingly, I tend to agree with some of the criticisms levelled at series 2, such as having the same joke repeat over and over and over again. This is particularly true when seeing a vomiting old lady be un-PC and then vomit every week and in this week's new character Linda who is just rude to people in her office. I think I have spoiled myself by listening to loads of the radio CDs again.

The Sebastian sketch wasn't familiar to us and we thought we'd seen them all being filmed but David must enjoy camping it up so much that they did some more on one of the nights we weren't there. Still camp and silly but still funny. As was the Daffyd sketch, with poppers and buttplugs replacing rimming as the rude word uttered by Mrs. Williams at the fete. Isn't it hilarious when old people say rude gay words? Stay tuned for the wedding sketch if you like that sort of thing! Extra gay points for David's PVC verger outfit, I am sure it must have chafed considerably.

The Mr Mann sketch could have been a dreadful rerun of the Pirate Memory Game but instead the 'video where Chevy Chase and Rick Moranis play undercover cops who enter a rap contest, Certificate 15' was very weird and funny. Just like Matt's Vicky Pollard on skates in a bikini, how he suffers for a few cheap laughs. Roll on episode 3 with the 'gawwwwwgeouss' Viv next week.
