Nan!

Well here we are again, another episode of BBC3's premier comedy show thing. Not that that's much of a boast; have you seen the other so-called 'comedy' they transmit? This episode has some of the LB Kru's favourite scenes in it and how we laughed... and coughed and slurped our tea. The Vicky Pollard weeing in the swimming pool always makes me smile, probably because that’s what most of us like to do in that situation. It's the nearest we get to actually urinating on the great British public so I am all for it!

The Daffyd sketch is a rare outside broadcast one, so I didn't get to see it being filmed which was a shame. Very nice Blacksmith but no Myfanwy and no Bacardi and Coke this week. What an effeminate drink anyway! My other highlights this week include the start of the "I was Mollie Sugden's bridesmaid" sketches, which will continue in a surreally tragic way and the start of many great Anne sketches. Very tempting to start moving things around at work whilst saying "eh-eh-eeeh" but would probably be a disciplinary matter so no can do. Many more great Anne moments to follow.

The Kelsey Grammar School sketches are beginning to grate now, we saw so many at the filming and I had hoped that most would end up as 'unseen extras' on the inevitable DVD but looks like they're going to be onscreen. Damn. At least we have the wonderful Dame Sally, described by Matt Lucas as 'a female version of Barbara Cartland'. And a novelist who I dare say would sell rather well in the shop I work in. As long as there were some hunky rogues with flowing manes of course.

The end... how many pages is that, Miss Grace?
